ڀڳت ڀاڳچند

سنڌ جا ماڻهو هميشه موسيقي جا عاشق رهيا آهن جنهن  جون نشانيون موئن جي دڙي مان پڻ ملن ٿيون، يا وري قاضي قادن ۽ شاهه لطيف يا ٻيا شاعر به ان شي جو اهڃاڻ آهن ته سنڌ صدين کان موسيقي سان واڳيل رهي آهي، ائين سنڌي ادب ۾ نثر کان نظم ۽ شاعري پڻ  وڏي اهميت رکي ٿي ان جي ڪري شاعري جيڪا راڳي مختلف محفلن توڙي يا ميڙاڪن ۾ شاعرن کان خوب داد حاصل ڪري پنهنجي فن جو مظاهرو ڪندا آهن. هڪ ته شاعر کي به داد ڏيڻ گهرجي پر ان کان مڃتا ڏيارڻ ۾ راڳي جو اهم ڪردار هوندو آهي، شاعر جي شآعري کي مختلف سازن سان ڌُنون ٺاهي ان کي راڳ ۾ ڳائيندو آهي ، تنهن جي ڪري شاعر توڙي راڳي کي عوام ۾ مڃتا ملي ٿي ان مان ظاهر ٿئي ٿو  ته هن سڄي مانڊاڻ کي مچائڻ ۾ راڳي جو اهم ڪردار هوندو آهي.

ان ئي راڳي جي پيشي۽ هڪ غريب هيٺين طبقي سان واسطو رکندڙ ڀڳت ڀاڳچند جو به انهن راڳين مان هڪ آهي جيڪو سنڌڙي جي تعلقي کپرو ۾ 1965ع ڌاري جنم ورتو هن کي ننڊي هوندي کان ئي موسيقي سان بيحد چاهت هئي ان  ڪري هن ننڍي عُمِر ۾ اٽي جي  چڪي هلائيندي  ان مان ڪيترائي سُر ٺاهيندو هو.  ڪيترن ئي قسمن جا راڳ   چهيڙي ويهندو هو ته ڪڏهن وري ان چڪي جي آوازن کي ساز سمجهي پاڻ کي ان ۾ پنهنجي هستي کي گُم ڪري ڇڏيندو هو ته اتان کان هي شخص متاثر ٿيو ۽ وڃي سازن جي  دنيا وسايائين .

ائين ئي مختلف سازن سِکڻ جو هن ۾ شوق جاڳيو ان ڪري هن گهانگهر جي وڄائڻ کان شروعات ڪئي ۽ لوهه جا ڊٻا پڻ وڄائي پنهنجو شوق پورو ڪندو هو. ائين آهستي آهستي باجو، يڪتارو، بينجو ۽ ٻيا ڪيترائي ساز سکيائين ۽ استاد تارا چند کان باقائدي ڳائڻ جي سکيا ورتائين اتان کان ئي صوفي موسيقي سان شروعات ڪيائين جيڪو اڄ ڏينهن تائين جاري و ساري  آهي. هن پنهنجي ڳائڻ جي شروعات مختلف درگاهن کان ڪئي ۽ تائين به درگاهن تي ڳائيندو رهي ٿو، هن پنهنجو فن صرف پنهنجي پاڻ تائين محدود نه رکيو پر فن کي امانت سمجهي ٻين شاگردن کي به  ڏيندو اچي ، پنهجي هن فن سان ڪيترائي شاگرد تيار ڪيا آهن جيڪو اڄ تائين جاري رکيو اچي .

هن پوءِ پنهنجي پراڻي ڳوٺ کي ڇڏي شاهپور چاڪر وسايائين سن 2000ع ۾ هن اتي اچي رهائش اختيار ڪئي اڃا تائين اتي ئي پيو رهي . هن پنهنجي ميڊيا تي ڳائڻ جي شروعات خيرپور جي ريڊيو اسٽيشن تان ڪئين ، اُتي هن کي ڪرم علي ٽالپر متعارف ڪرايو ، جنهن کي هي روحاني مُرشد پڻ ڪري مڃي ٿو،

پوءِ هن سچل کي ڳايو“ قلب اندر قابو ڏٺوسين مڪي وڃڻ ڪهڙو ڪم” ائين هي پنهنجي هن فن سان ڪيترن ئي شاعرن کي سُرن ۾ چهڙيو آهي جن ۾ روحل فقير، مراد فقير، فقير درياءَ خان، بيدل سائين ، سچل سائين، ولي محمد لغاري، ڀڳت ڪبير، انور سائين ۽ حُضور سائين کان ويندي هن هن دور جي شاعر مانجهي فقير تائين پنهنجا سُر وکيريا آهن.

هن جو پسنديدهه صوفي شاعر روحل فقير آهي اڄ به به ڪرم سائين جي واکاڻ ڪندو رهي ٿو ۽ هن ڪرم سائين جا ڪيترائي ڪلام ڳائي چڪو آهي ، روحل سائين کي پسند جو شاعر هئڻ ڪري اڄ تائين هي ان فقير جون هي سٽون سدائين چوندو رهندو آهي ڇو ته روحل فقير هفت زبان شاعر آهي.

  صحيع سڃاڻي پاڻ اٿئي سندو قطرو،

ڪوري ڪڍ قُلوب مان مدائي وارو ماڻ،

پري نِهارڻ  پِر کي سندو ڄٽن ڄاڻ ،

سائين توسان ساڻ رات ڏينهن روحل چوي.

Shamim Soomro ,a multitalented personality who is not only limited unto his profession only but also blessed with great helping nature, friendly way and also an perfect woman.  As she is Chairperson of Social Work Department along with this she is also known grand artist and broadcaster at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation at Hyderabad.      She was born on October 18-1955 and basically belongs to Hyderabad city.

Her style is very matchless and she speaks very softly and her individuality looks unique by her way of dressing and by way of behaving with all. She likes to wear ringers in her finger and has great craze of beautify her home, office with great decorated pieces as well as with flowers. She has achieved countless success. Madam took first rank in Faculty and completed her M.A in Economics and in Sociology as well. Mrs. Soomro also has been awarded with PH.D grade

She was an earliest girl in her family who kept her footstep at University level and entered into the Radio. Meanwhile, she has to also face their anti-people. So regarding that she also suffered but her father remained her great supporter and encourages her in her toughest time of life. And she believers that because of her father blessings she has reached at such grade and she has been awarded with Excellent voice Artist Award by Radio Pakistan. 

               Her rememorable event of her life is her wedding day which changed her whole life and she has to face many responsibilities of her children and home etc.We can say she is great example of such women who have to look after both home furthermore have to work outside.

            She is also wife of great honorable man Illahi Bux Baban, who is Deputy Controller at PBC. Madam Soomro is blessed with two daughters and one son. Mrs.  baban likes toys, flowers and her favorite color is natural green and she likes cloudy weather but unfortunately it is harmful for her as she is patient of Asthma. She loves music as soft music and ghazals and her desired singer are Jagjeet Singh and Muhammad Juman. She is fond of having poetry and in her childhood, one day she suddenly wrote poetry on the wall of her home and her father was surprised to see such nice at that standard and that poetry was of Allama Iqbal and lines were in such way

  Tandiye bade mukhalif se na ghabra ae Aqaab,

Ye tar chalti he tujhe ooncha urane ke lye

She is religious minded woman and it seems by her Philosophy that she has suffered a lot in her life and her message was to struggle, struggle an only struggle and her saying was life is not the bed of roses and  Allah is great and leave everything t on Him.

   By taking remarks about her by her colleague Syed Abbas Ali Shah, he said that madam Shamim is very decent, sober, helpful and friendly by nature and we have spended 12 to

13 years together and if anyone from our staff has any problem they without any hesitation inform to madam Soomro and he tries her best to solve out it. Madam Shamim Soomro is our Head but she is also corperative and she is only stick for those who are irresponsibles. I can say she is ideal woman.

Maqbool Sharib a poet from Hyderabad

It will be an injustice if we discuss development of to Urdu literature in Hyderabad and not mention the Maqbool Sharib. He is a high-ranked poet and writer who have keen interest in verse. Sharib was born on December 25, 1938 in Narnol, Patiala State, India. His name is Syed Maqbool Hussain and pen name is “Sharib”. He did his M.A in Urdu Literature from University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
Sharib owns a gentle, humble and formal personality. He is one of those people who in spite of several difficulties, hindrances and torments, built their personalities and reached to their desired destination. Maqbool Hussain Sharib considers poetry as a way of social reformation and development. His every verse and stanza is objective, constructive and carries a message for, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly. About his pen-name, Sharib says that it was given to him by one of his teachers, Hashmat Narnoli which means “cupbearer” or “the one who feeds”.
Maqbool Sharib started poetry in 1962 and flourished his poetic as well as prose skills under the kind and supervision of poetry teachers Hashmat Narnoli, Khaadmi Ajmeri and Nihal Narnoli. His first poetic collection was published in the year 1986 under the name “Andaaz e Chaman” and other poetic collections include Mehr- e-Jahan Taab, Guldaan -e-Nazr and Shamma-e- Umeed.
Sharib is not only a splendid poet but also an upright writer. His articles were published in book form under title of “Mazameen- e- Maqbool”. His poetry, articles and interviews has been published in numerous newspapers in which Daily Safeer Hyderabad, Daily Pasban Hyderabad, Monthly Baseer Karachi and Monthly Niqaad Karachi are note-worthy. He was awarded various certificates and awards from eminent personalities in recognition of his services to society and Urdu literature.

In the year 1958, he led the foundation of a social organization “Tanzeem- e- Ukhuwwat” and fulfilled his duties very well. Moreover, he remained affiliated to many literary organizations such as Bazm e Farogh e Adab, Halqa e Adab, Saqafat and others. He also rendered services to Radio Pakistan, Hyderabad as compere in the 90s. His poetry had been broadcast from Radio Pakistan, Hyderabad in the voices of many singers in which Late Zaheer Warsi is notable.
Sharib is currently performing his duties as President of a literary organization, Farogh-e- Adab. His work is the evidence of his broad vision and experience throughout his life.

امتیاز علی کھاڑو نے لاڑکانہ کے غریب گھر میں جنم لیا جہاں ان کے والد رکشہ چلا کر دن رات کی محنت سے اپنے بچوں کا پیٹ پالتے اور ان کی بہتر تربیت کی ،ابتدائی تعلیم کا سفر لاڑکانہ کے سرکاری اسکول سے کیا اور وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ تعلیمی سرگرمیوں میں بھرپور انداز میں کامیابیاں حاصل کیں ،اپنی منزل عام آدمی کے مسائل کو سامنے رکھتے ہوئے صحافت کو بنایا تاکہ عام آدمی کے مسائل کو بہتر انداز میں اجاگر کیا جاسکے اور اعلیٰ ایونوں تک اُنکی آواز کو پہنچایا جائے اسی مقصد کے تحت انہوں نے بہت سے ٹی وی چینلز میں اپنے فرائض انجام دئیے اور ان دنوں ’’ اب تک ‘‘ ٹی وی سے وابستہ ہیں جہاں ان کی حقائق پر مبنی رپورٹنگ اور چبتے ہوئے سوالات عام آدمی کے مسائل میں دلچسپی نہ لینے والے افسران کیلئے پریشانی کا با عث ہیں۔

امتیاز علی کو میڈیا کا بہت شوق تھا اسی لئے انہوں کئی ٹی وی چینلز پر مختلف کام کیے جن میں KTN Entertainmentمیں ڈائریکٹر ، Sindh Tv میں" تصوف" ڈا کومینٹری بنائی، Mehran Tv میں بھی کئی پروگراموں میں بطور ڈائر یکٹر خدمات سرانجام دیں،
اس کے علاؤ سندھی میڈیا کا مشہورکرائم پروگرام" نقاب بے نقاب" جو Awaz Tv News سے نشر ہوتا تھا جس میں بطور ڈائریکٹر اور کرائم رپورٹر کام کیا جس کے وجہ سے کئی مظلوموں کو انصاف ملا مگر اسی پروگرام کی وجہ سے دوران رپورٹنگ مخالف گروپوں کی جانب سے کئی با ر جا ن لیوا حملے بھی کیے گئے جن میں متعددبار وہ زخمی بھی ہوئے ۔امتیاز علی نے کرائم رپورٹنگ کا آغاز Dharti Tv News سے کیا اور آج بھی وہ ایک اردو چینل Abb Takk Tv News میں کرائم رپوٹر کے حیثیت سے کام کر رہے ہیں۔

زندگی ایک دریا کی مانند ہے اور مشکلات اس دریا کی موجیں ہیں جن کے ارادے پختہ ہوں اور ان میں کچھ کرنے کا جذبہ ہو وہی لوگ زندگی کی ان مشکلات اور حالات سے مقابلہ کرتے ہیں اور یہی لوگ در حقیقت اپنی محنت ، جدوجہد اور ہمت سے آسمان کی بلندیوں کو چھوتے ہیں اور معاشرے میں اپنا ایک خاص مقام اور عزت بناتے ہیں ۔
1980 ؁ میں فیصل آباد کے ایک چھوٹے سے گاؤں سمندری میں پیدا ہونے والے محمد بلال اعظم بھی انہی لوگوں میں ایک ہیں جنہوں نے زندگی کی مشکلات کی آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈال کر انکا مقابلہ کیا اور یہ ثابت کیا کہ انسان اگر کچھ کرنا چاہے تو اس کیلئے راہیں خود بخود کھلتی چلی جاتی ہیں ۔
محمد بلال اعظم نے ایک متوسط گھرانے میں آنکھ کھولی والد صاحب گورنمنٹ ملازم تھے اگر چہ انکی اتنی زیادہ آمدنی تو نہیں تھی مگر زندگی کی بنیادی سہولیات میسر تھیں ۔ جب 4 سال کے ہوئے تو زیورِ تعلیم سے آراستہ کرنے کیلئے آپکو گاؤں کے پرائمری اسکول میں داخل کرا دیا گیا ۔ 7 سال کی عمر میں ایک دن جب آپ تیسری جماعت کا امتحان دینے کے بعد گھر لوٹے تو والد کا سایہ سر سے اٹھ چکا تھا اور یہیں سے آپکے تعلیمی امتحان کے ساتھ ساتھ زندگی کے امتحان بھی شروع ہو گئے ۔
والد صاحب کے بعد جب گھر کے حالات خراب ہونے لگے تو بڑے بھائی ہونے کے ناطے آپ لاہور اپنے رشتہ داروں کے پاس آگئے اور اردو بازار میں ایک کتابوں کی دکان پر کام کرنے لگے اور ساتھ ہی اپنی تعلیمی پیاس بھی بجھاتے رہے اگر چہ دکان سے زیادہ پیسے تو نہیں ملتے تھے مگر پھر بھی آپ اپنی خواہشات کا دم گھوٹ کر ان پیسوں سے اپنی پڑھائی کا خرچہ پورا کر لیا کرتے تھے ۔
1994 ؁ میں میٹرک اور 1996 ؁ میں FAکا امتحان اچھے نمبروں سے پاس کیا جس کی بدولت آپکو پنجاب یونیورسٹی میں داخلہ لینے میں زیادہ مشکل درپیش نہیں آئی ۔2002 ؁ میں آپ نے پنجاب یونیورسٹی سے ماس کمیونیکیشن میں ماسٹرز کرنے کے بعد مختلف اخبارات و رسائل میں لکھنا شروع کیا اور 5سال تک مختلف این جی اوز اور پرائیویٹ اداروں میں بھی کام کیا اور بہتر سے بہتر کی تلاش کیلئے جدوجہد کرتے رہے ۔ 2008 ؁ میں آپ نے وقت ٹی وی نیوز میں اسسٹنٹ پروڈیوسر کے عہدے سے باقاعدہ طور پر اپنے کیریئر کا آغاز کیا مگر اس دوران بھی آپ نے محنت ، ہمت اور جذبے کا دامن ہاتھ سے نہیں چھوڑا اور مزید دل لگا کر کام کرنے لگے ۔ آپکی محنت اور جذبے کو دیکھتے ہوئے ادارے نے 2010 ؁ میں آپکو پروڈیوسر کے عہدے پر فائز کیا ۔
آپ کا یہ ماننا ہے کہ زندگی کے امتحان ہی انسان کو حقیقی زندگی گزارنے اور زندگی کی اہمیت کے بارے میں بتاتے ہیں۔ ممکن اور ناممکن صرف ہماری سوچ کا حصہ ہے جبکہ دنیا کا ایسا کوئی بھی کام نہیں ہے جو ناممکن ہوہر مشکل کا کوئی نہ کوئی حل ضرورہوتا ہے اب یہ انسان پر منحصر ہے کہ وہ مشکل حالات میں کس حد تک ثابت قدم رہتا ہے اورکیسے ان مشکلات کاحل نکالتا ہے ۔

Mubina Imtiaz, a middle aged tailoress striving hard to survive in this harsh world. She lives with a husband and her 5 kids.

  This 38 year old woman looks 10 year older than her age, due to her wrinkles which are the consequences of her sleepless nights she spends with her stirching machine to earn her livings, to fullfill the requirements of her family. After stitching she even delivers the clothes herself and also takes the orders on her own.

Despite of that fact that she is burnt and she looks petrifying, she does'nt have a bit of complex. She got burnt in an accident in her own house by the leakage of gas pipe in her kitchen, she lit up the matchstick and the entire kitchen along with her caught the fire, she was fortunate that she survived and got herself out of this accident. It was her will power that made her fight when she was striving for her life.

   "Where there is a will, there is a way"

these lines are truely mend for the people like Mubina, who turned her way back to life. She does'nt care how she looks like, does her work with pure honesty never lets her customers down. These people are around us, in our society they dont come up like Mubina to show or use up their talents as their earning they hide themselves thinking that they are a curse for the society and the people wont appreciate them. But these people should remember that 

 "God helps those who helps themselves".

The keyword is "will power" which Mubina had alot in herself and which made the victory easy for her, and now even surviving is difficult but she is making every possible effort to provide the best life to her family.

World is full or inspiring personalities. When sun rises it brings new life new tasks for everyone. People start their struggle for achieving their goals. They never give up and hold the rope of struggle that leads them to success. People who believe in struggle surely they catch the destiny.

Irfan Haider is also one of them who never left the rope of struggle. He made bate with challenges and made his mind as queen of chess. Finely he succeeded and became the king of challenges in his game of life. In small village LAL BUX of district Larkano, city of martyrs he opened his eyes on24th Oct: 1982. In childhood Irfan was inspired from his grand father who was a teacher who belonged to middle class family. He joined school in early age in Sindhi medium and showed optimum performance. He moved for higher education in Larkano city. 

He joined Deni Madarsa High School and completed his matriculation with appreciating marks in 1993.  He won the task of intermediate exam with a grade in 1995 from Boys Degree College Larkano. In same year he joined English academy. While studying there the director of the academy found some persist & leading qualities and offered him for teaching, he became teacher of English language in 1995 and served there 1o years. He thought to move forward for his destiny. 

In 1998 he did BA from same college and secured 1^st position. He Did MA English from Shah Abdul Latif university Khair pur in 2000. It was difficult task for him to shift his family from village to city. Future of his younger brothers made him power full and after great difficulties and after bearing pain of thorns in life he shifted his family. Now his family was totally relying on him. He started to do double labor at one side he had to feed his family and one side he had to catch his destiny. He believed in Allah almighty and his hard work. 

In 2004 he passed  combined competitive exam, passed in all subjects and interview but could not fall on merit list. This thing made him upset but he didn't lose him tempo he moved forward. Year 2005 became lucky for him with his hard work and prays of his mother, He passed test for Senior audit Officer. Now he was ready to reap the fruit of his patience. He was appointed as Senior Audit Officer   in Islamabad. Later he was transferred to Sindh Hyderabad city he served there. 

Still he was eager to do some thing very unique. He rushed out and gave attempt for CSS in 2008, passed all subjects but unfortunately failed in aggregate. He was again disappointed. He never looked back he has remembered the story of King Bruce and spider. He started serving his department military account of Pakistan. He was transferred in capital city of Sindh in 2011.

Miss Shazaf Masood is actually engaged her life to make her own world. Shazaf, is a girl with the most dynamic and versatile personality ever, Just at the age of 17 years she has achieved what still people desires to , She is a writer & an artist herself, She use to write for an Indian International magazine named :"Peace Gong" , learn international forum as well and many renown others. She wrote her first essay "Agar Dunya Badal Jaey To" at the age of 7 which was published in Jang and Kawish. 

Her aims are that high that no one can imagine, an ambitious girl herself dares to go among 120 crocodiles just at the age of 17, due to this dare she has been invited in Sahir Lodhi's Show. Recently She has been offered to apply for Diana award U.K 2012 And working voluntarily for a very well renown "Make A Wish Foundation" And Is the leading president of JCI STAR 2012 (A new chapter of JCI INTERNATIONAL) . 

 Today she owes Animal Welfare ,Environmental & Humanity Organization-(AEH) officially and like all her previous efforts she still hope in fact she is very sure that even this time she will get what she want.. In her words she stated "Sky Is Still Not the Limit, Life is much more to discover and that's what the real thrill is about..!" She represents the Voice of youth, in simple words better to say she is an admirable inspiration for the new generation! 

She said that there are so many people out there who will tell you that "You can't". What you've got to do is turn around and say" watch me"...!If today I will get a chance to ask Allah what I desire the most & that he will gonna promise to fulfill right at that moment.. "I will ask him to extend my life a little more." I am sure what everyone would think is that I am not satisfied with my life the one that I have...Or maybe I am one of those who are afraid of the this mystery of death..But the truth is I ''will ask him this is because I know there are people in my life who needs me more or may be my presence 'will help them out in anyway..!

She believed that Life is a great travel trip... But the problem is that it doesn't come with a map so we have to search our own ways to reach the destination...!

Actually words are not good enough to describe her achievement, aims and her wonderful personality; we can just only say that "She is just born to win."

A common but uncommon

There are many humble and useful jobs that people have to do for their livelihood, despite liked by them or not. All of them play an important role in society with their efforts. For instance a street sweeper's work is very humble, yet the city would be a dirty place if the sweepers were not there.  So we should not despise him on account of his job but at least do not show a hatred behaviour to them. A cobbler also does a humble job. He makes an honest living by mending shoes. In the course of his work, his hands become dirty and black due to shoe polish, so we should not ignore them as unimportant persons of the society but take appreciate their hard work that they do for earnings.

Here I am writing something about Javed  Tamachi a cobbler at Arts Faulty, University of Sindh. He is 23 years old and lives at Shora Village, Jamshoro. Javed usually earns rupees 200 a day. He comes at 7:30am daily and starts his work on roof with some useful tools and a woody box.   He closes his shoes mending stall at 2: pm. Many students also give him some extra money, for his hard work.

He further told that their family migrated from Bahawalpur to Sindh for the sake of money. Though the income is less but his family is happy with this amount. Javed told that they do not depend on others, they are ten family members and it is really difficult to survive and its share of 200 rupees is fewer shares for supporting the family but still his mother is happy with him with thanking god for monetary he earns and others earn.

Javed further mentioned that one of his elder brothers and father are also cobblers and this is his family profession. Even Sunday is not holiday for him and if University is off he goes to other places and start cobbler's work there because if he earns daily his family lives happily.

 Javed said a certain dignity can be found in all kinds of honest labour with hard work. We would not look down upon anyone because someone does a humble job. Each labour has his own dignity and we should respect the dignity of each human being. No man loses his dignity because he happens to do a poorly paid job.

Javed gives his message that all of us must learn to respect the dignity of labour. We should not be ashamed to do any kind of job even the job that let sit you down on the roof but it should be done with honesty. Children must learn to respect every labour. Our country will be prosperous only when we have a right sense of values and no false pride.

کہتے ہیں موسیقی روح کی غذا اور احساس کی زبان ہوتی ہے،موسیقی کسی بھی علاقے کی تہذیب و ثقافت کا آئینہ ہوتی ہے۔وادی سندھ صدیوں سے فنُون لطیفہ کا محور و مرکز رہا ہے،صوفی بُزرگوں نے اپنی شاعری اور منفرد موسیقی کو تبلیغ کا ذریعہ سمجھا دوسرے الفاظ میں یہ کہا جائے کہ موسیقی وادی مہران کے لوگوں کی رگ رگ میں سمائی ہوئی ہے تو بے جا نہ ہو گا۔

کچھ لوگ ایسے ہوتے ہیں جنکی زندگی میں خوش قسمتی بہت جلد داخل ہو جاتی ہے اور انہیں عزت،شہرت اور فنی دولت اس وقت مل جاتی ہے جبکہ وہ ابھی اُسکی توقع ہی کر رہے ہوتے ہیں۔موسیقی میں شامل ایک ایسے ہی منفرد اور فن نواز بلکہ موسیقی دوست کا ذکر کرتے ہیں۔سلطان احمد خاں لودھی جنکا تعلُق حیدرآباد شہر سے ہے اُنہوں نے ابتدائی تعلیم اسی شہر سے حاصل کی اور پھر گریجویشن کے بعد الیکٹرک ڈپلومہ حاصل کیا۔آجکل ایک مُقامی اسکول میں معلم کی حیثیت سے تعلیم کو فروغ دے رہے ہیں۔

۱۹۷۸ میں اُنہوں نے حیدرآباد کے ایک نابینا اُستاد آچر سولنگی مرحوم کی شاگردی حاصل کی اور موسیقی کی تعلیم لی۔چھ ماہ سیکھنے کے بعد حیدرآباد کے ایک اور سینئر اُستاد سید شوکت علی شاہ کی اکیڈمی میں موسیقی کی باقاعدہ تعلیم لینا شروع کی، اُستاد سید شوکت علی شاہ نے سلطان علی لودھی کے شوق اور محنت کو دیکھتے ہوئے اُن کی تعلیم پر بہت محنت کی اور آج سلطان لودھی کا نام شہر کے چند بڑے میوزک کمپوزر میں شُمار ہوتا ہے، سلطان لودھی موسیقی کے شوق میں پڑوسی مُلک ہندُوستان بھی گئے اور مُسلسل جاتے رہے جہاں اُنہوں نے کلاسیکی موسیقی کی تعلیم اُستاد خورشید خاں سے حاصل کی وہ ہر سال چار سے چھ ماہ ہندُدستان جاتے تھے اور موسیقی کی تعلیم حاصل کرتے تھے آج کلاسیکل موسیقی کے بارے میں حیدرآباد میں اُن سے زیادہ کوئی نہیں جانتا۔سلطان لودھی کلاسیکل،نیم کلاسیکل اور پاپ راک میوزک میں مہارت رکھتے ہیں پاکستان بھر میں آج اُن کے شاگرد موسیقی کا جادُو جگا رہے ہیں ۔سلطان لودھی یوں تو تمام ساز بڑی مہارت سے بجا لیتے ہیں خاص طور پر گٹار،ہارمونیم،ڈرم اور کی بورڈ وغیرہ۔

اُن کے ھونہار شاگردوں میں جُنید شیخ جو انڈیا کے مشہور پروگرام سارے گاما میں ۲۰۰۷ میں ٹاپ فائیو کا اعزاز پا چُکے ہیں اسکے علاوہ پاکستان میں دھرم ویر، ثانی علی اور اسرار شاہ نے کافی نام کمایا ہے اور آج یہ ٹی وی اور اسٹیج کے کافی پروگرامز میں پرفارم کر رہے ہیں۔سُلطان لودھی نے ریڈیو پاکستان کے لیے بھی کافی نغمے کمپوز کیے ہیں اسکے علاوہ تقریباٍٍ تمام ٹی وی چینلز اور ایف ایم پر اُن کی موسیقی میں کمپوز کیے ہوئے نغمے سُنائی اور دکھائی دیتے ہیں اسکے علاوہ وہ حیدرآباد میں ۱۹۹۵ سے ایک موسیقی کی اکیڈمی بھی چلا رہے ہیں جہاں موسیقی کا شوق رکھنے والے بچے اور بچیاں موسیقی کی تعلیم پا رہے ہیں اور سازوں کا استعمال کرنا بھی سیکھ رہے ہیں ۔

سُلطان لودھی کہتے ہیں کہ موسیقی کی تعلیم یا میوزک کو نصابی تعلیم پر حاوی نہ کریں میوزک کے لیے جُنون ،لگن،محنت ہو تو کامیابی آپ سے دُور نہیں۔

Many people on this earth have hidden talents which are often unknown to others. Dr Asadullah Palli is also one of those who have hidden talents. He is known as a good neurologist but very few people know him as a research scholar in Sindhi literature.

Dr Asadullah was born at village Nabi Bux Palli in district Umerkot on November 3rd, 1957. He received his education till intermediate from Umerkot. He was a bright student. His father Muhammad Umer Palli wanted him to become a doctor as he was bright student, but he wished to become an engineer, but he respected his father's wish and got admission in M.B.B.S.

He passed his M.B.B.S in first class and then did Diploma in Clinical Neurology (D.C.N) which again he passed with flying colors and secured first position.

He had a great interest in Sindhi literature as his father was also a great Sindhi scholar and a renowned Sindhi poet who wrote 50 books among which 16 are published. He is inspired from his father and started reading Sindhi folk stories series. He still has those 12 books in his personal library.

“I have literary education from my father. He is the main figure whose training made me what I am today.”

Dr Asadullah Palli has compiled three books of his father, three of other Sindhi scholars and one is his own research paper on Sindhi language. His articles regarding Sindhi literature are published in different news papers.

“Medicine is my profession and literature is my passion, in fact it's in my blood.” He said.

He has participated in many local, national and international conferences on literature where he represented Sindhi literature. His fields of research are history of literature and poetry specially the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. He is a regular speaker in annual Bhitshah conference on Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. He also arranges a Yearly Literary Conference at his village.

As a doctor, he has worked in neurosurgery at Department of LUMHS for four years where he treated many cases.

His subjects of interest were Head Injuries and Axe Injury. In later case, most of the victims were women from villages where women are still treated as a maid. This issue persuaded him so much that he wrote a research paper on Effect of the Axe injury on Brain. This was published in medical journal of LUMHS.

Currently Dr Asadullah is working as a neuro physician, as Assistant Professor in LUMHS where he teaches anatomy and continues his research in Sindhi literature.

Addressing our social system, he remarked that we are lacking in merit justification, if we respect merit the system will be on right path. Merit justifies us about our religion and its religion which completes our system.

No doubt he is a great scholar who plays a big role in promoting our Sindhi Literature. He wants our Sindhi youth to join hands for promoting our Sindhi language and literature.

وڏيون خواهشون رکڻ ۽ آسمان جا تارا لاهڻ هر انسان جو خواب هوندو آهي. پر ڪجهه ماڻهو اهڙا به هوندا آهن، جيڪي تمام ننڍيون خواهشون رکندا آهن ۽ پوري ٿيڻ تي خوش ٿيندا آهن. اهڙا ماڻهو پنهنجي ذات جي دائري تائين محدود نه رهندا آهن پر پنهنجي آس پاس رهندڙ هر جاندار کي ايترو ئي حق ڏيندا آهن. جيڪو سندن مالڪ جو ڏنل هوندو آهي ۽ اهڙا ماڻهو زندگي جي هر باريڪ پهلو کي ايتري ئي باريڪ بيني سان ڏسن ٿا. جيڪي عام ماڻهو نٿا ڏسي سگهن.

جڏهن ته حيات علي شاهه جهڙا ماڻهو زندگي جي حقيقت سان هر وقت آشنا رهن ٿا. ۽ پنهنجا احساس ۽ تجربا ماڻهن تائين ادب جي مختلف صنفن ذريعي پهچائيندا رهندا آهن. ۽ عام ماڻهو جي حياتي کي با مقصد بڻائڻ جي پوري ڪوشش ڪن ٿا. حيات علي شاهه بخاري پنهنجي زندگي جا ورهيه اليڪٽرانڪ ۽ پرنٽ ميڊيا کي ڏنا آهن ۽ اڃا به پنهنجون خدمتون سرانجام ڏيئي رهيا آهن. سندن پيدائش 12 اپريل 1947ع ۾ هٽڙي جي ڳوٺ حيدرآباد ۾ ٿي. سندن والد هڪ پوليس آفيسر هو. حيات شاهه کي اداڪاري جو تمام گهڻو شوق هو.

پي ٽي وي جي پروڊيوسر هارون رند ميڊيا ڏانهن ڌيان ڇڪايو. جنهن سبب تعليم متاثر ٿي ۽ تعليم مڪمل نه ڪري سگهيس ۽ فقط انٽر پاس ڪيو. سندن ڪيريئر جو آغاز 1967ع کان ٿيو ۽ پهرين ريڊيو پاڪستان تي هڪ آرٽسٽ طور ڪم ڪيو ان دؤران لکڻ جو ڪم به شروع ڪري ڇڏيائون ۽ 100 کان وڌيڪ ريڊيو تي ڊرامه لکيائون جيڪي اڄ تائين ڪنهن به ليکڪ نه لکيا اهن. اهي ڊراما تمام گهڻا مقبول ٿيا. 100 کان به وڌيڪ ڊراما لکڻ سبب کين نالو ”ورلڊ رڪارڊ“ ۾ هئڻ گهرجي ها پر بدقسمتي سان ائين نه ٿي سگهيو. مختلف ٽي وي چئنل لاءِ ڊراما پڻ لکيائون، جنهن ۾ پي ٽي وي لاءِ خواب ۽ خواهشون، سولو پليز ۽ سنڌ ٽي وي لاءِ پڻ ڊراما لکيائون، جن مان چنڊ گرهڻ هلندڙ آهي. پاڻ نه فقط سنجيده ڊرامه لکيائون پر مزاحيه ڪهاڻين ۾ به سندن ڪو مٽ نه آهي. مزاحيه ڪهاڻيون لکڻ تي کين تمام سٺي موٽ ملي. مهراڻ ٽي وي فيوز ٽريڪ هلندڙ آهي ۽ مهراڻ ٽي وي لاءِ پڻ هڪ مزاحيه ڊرامو لکيو اٿن جيڪو چار قسطن تي مشتمل آهي. پاڻ سنڌي فلم ۾ پڻ بهترين ڪارڪردگي ڏيکاريائون، جنهن ۾ هڪ ليکڪ، ڪو اسسٽنٽ ڊائريڪٽر طور پڻ ڪم ڪيو. جتي سندن هميشه ڪوشش هئي ته سنڌي فلمن ۾ سنڌي ڪلچر نمايان ٿئي. سندن هر فلم سنڌي ڪلچر تي مشتمل آهي. جيجل ماءُ، رت جا رشتا ۾ اسسٽنٽ ڊائريڪٽر طور ڪم ڪيائون ۽ رت جي راند ۾ اچانڪ کين اداڪاري ڪرڻي پئي ڇاڪاڻ ته ان وقت هڪ آرٽسٽ وقت تي نه پهچي سگهيو.

هڪ سرائڪي فلم ”ڌيان نمائيان“ ۾ پڻ اسسٽنٽ ڊائريڪٽر طور ڪم ڪيو ۽ پوءِ جلد ئي لاهور هليا ويا. اهو سندن گولڊن پيريڊ هو، ۽ اتي جي ماڻهن کان تمام گهڻو متاثر ٿيا ۽ سٺي موٽ حاصل ڪيائون. اها فلم به ڪلچر تي مشتمل هئي. جنهن سبب رليون، دلا، کٽون وغيره سنڌ مان ئي کڻي وڃڻا پيا ته جيئن فلم ۾ سنڌي ڪلچر نمايان ڪري سگهن. پوءِ سنڌي فلمن جو بجيٽ وڌيڪ هجڻ ڪري کين اهو سلسلو اتي ئي ختم ڪرڻو پيو ۽ حڪومت به ڪو تعاون نه ڪيو ۽ سئنيما گهر آهستي آهستي بند ٿي ويا. پاڻ پنجابي فلم ۾ ڊائريڪشن پڻ ڪيائون. خام وطن، ڪاوش ۾ سب ايڊيٽر ۽ نيوز ايڊيٽر جي حيثيت سان ڪم ڪيائون ۽ عبرت ۾ ايڊيٽر ۽ نيوز ايڊيٽر جو ڪم جاري رکيو پيا اچن. عبرت به چهنڊڙيون ۽ سنڊي ايڊيشن ۾ ڪالم پڻ لکندا آهن. سندن چوڻ آهي ته عبرت ۾ خوش آهيان پر جيڪڏهن اليڪٽرانڪ ميڊيا ۾ موقعو مليو ته ضرور ڪم ڪندس. سندس زندگي جو دلچسپ واقعو هن ريت آهي ته ڪجهه سال اڳ ڪراچي صدر جي سئنيما ۾ هڪ انگريزي فلم ”ورلڊ وار“ چڙهيل هئي، جنهن کي ڏسڻ جو کين تمام گهڻو شوق جاڳيو. محبوب عالم ۽ ظفر جهانگير به ساڻن گڏ هئا. پئسا تمام گهٽ هجڻ هنن کي يا ته فلم ڏسڻي هئي يا ماني کائڻي هنن پنهنجي پيٽ کي بک ڏئي به اها فلم ڏٺي. آخر ۾ هنن اهو فيصلو ڪيو ته بکيا رهنداسين، پر فلم لازمي ڏسنداسين. پاڻ هٿن سان ڪمپوزنگ جو ڪم ڪيائون، پر ڪڏهن به پنهنجي فرض کان نه ڪيٻايائون. تمام گهڻيون تڪليفون کين درپيش آيون پر همت نه هاريائون ۽ اڳتي وڌندا ويا.

حيات علي شاهه تمام حساس طبعيت جا مالڪ ۽ کائڻ جا تمام گهڻا شوقين آهن. سندن پسنديده گل گلاب آهي. پاڻ ليکڪ اشفاق احمد ۽ ان جي زال کان تمام گهڻو متاثر آهن، سندن پيغام آهي ته شاگرد جيڪي ميڊيا ۾ اچڻ چاهين ٿا اهي تمام گهڻي سخت محنت ڪئي ۽ پنهنجي ڪلچر کي اجاگر ڪن. حيات شاهه کي زندگي مان ڪا به شڪايت نه آهي. هو انهيءَ مقام تي تمام گهڻا خوش آهن.

دنيا ۾ ڪيترائي شخص ماڻھن جي دل ۾ پنھنجا ڪيل ڪارناما ڇڏي ۽ چِٽي ويا آھن. جو ھر شخص انھن کي ڏسڻ ۽ ملڻ جي آس رکندو آھي ۽ اھو سلسلو اڄ به جاري آھي ۽ ھميشه جاري رھندو ھر انسان پنھنجي اخلاق ۽ ڪم جي لحاظ سان سڃاتو ويندو آھي. تن مان ڊاڪٽر اسسٽنٽ پروفيسر مختار احمد مھر به ھڪ آھي، جنھن پنھجي زندگي ۾ لڳاتار محنت ڪري پنھجو مقصد حاصل ڪيو، مختيار احمد مھر 30 نومبر 1973ع ۾ شڪارپور جي ميراڻي محله ۾ جنم ورتو، ابتدائي تعليم گورنمينٽ پرائمري اسڪول ريلوي ڪالوني مان حاصل ڪئي جنھن جي چوڌاري مڇين جي واپارين جا مرڪز آھن، ننڍي ھوندي کان کيس مڇين سان دلچسپي ۽ ان جي پالڻ سان لڳاءُ ٿي ويو مڊل ۽ ھاءِ اسڪول جي تعليم اسڪول نمبر ٽو مان حاصل ڪئي انٽرميڊيٽ جي تعليم سي اينڊ ايس ڊگري ڪاليج مان حاصل ڪئي.

1997ع ۾ فشريز سروي پروجيڪٽ ايل بي او ڊي سانگھڙ ۽ چوٽياريون ريزو، واٽر ٽائڊل لنڪ ليڪ ضلعي بدين تي ڪم ڪيو ۽ ھڪ سال لاءِ ريسرچ آفيسر رھيو بعد ۾ 1998ع ۾ پروگرام جي ڪاميابي جي تڪميل بعد شعبي فريش واٽر بائيولاجي ۽ فشريز شعبي 2001ع ۾ ايسوسيئيٽ ريسرچ طور ڪم سر انجام ڏنائين. 2001ع ۾ ليڪــچــرار طــور جــوائــن ڪــيــائين 2004ع جي ڪانووڪيشن ۾ ڊاريڪٽوريٽ يعني پي ايڇ ڊي ڊگري حاصل ڪيائين ان سان گڏوگڏ ايڪٽو ريسرچ جي دوران ٻٽيھ پبليڪيشن عالمي ۽ ملڪي ساک وارن رسالن ۾ ۽ جرنلن ۾ ريسرچ پيپر شايع ٿيندا رھيا آھن.

The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you will discover will be wonderful. What you will discover is yourself.

The almighty Allah has created man with many abilities. Everyone contributes according to his talents, efficiencies, capabilities and achieves goals.

Some proved their identity as scientists while some as engineers, doctors, lawyers, educationists, journalists and writers.

Mohammad Ismail Malik is a writer and journalist. He is famous through his literary name Zahid Malik. He was born on 22 September, 1961 in a small village Faiz Malik of district Dadu. He received his primary education from his village, matriculation from High School of Dadu and did intermediate from Government Degree College Dadu. After that he did M.A in Journalism from Sindh University Jamshoro.

Being a writer he commenced his career by writing children stories from 1973 but these stories were published in 1978. He also did poetry to some extent till 1985 and wrote about 200 verses of poetry.

The most dignified thing for him in poetry was that he had been guided by Ustad Allah Nawaz and encouraged by distinguished poet of Sindh, Ustad Bukhari. He didn't limit himself to literary activities but also participated in many cultural programs. This is evident from his dramas when he started his career as actor and dramatist from Radio Pakistan Khairpur and produced more than 10 dramas, highly liked by people.

His first stage drama was “Waido”. He proved himself as a best actor of stage drama and won award and a certificate from Sindhi Express Forum. His best stage dramas included Waido, Piyar jee Manzil, Tree te Behisht, Begum Ho Jamalo and more.

He also got popularity from his weekly feature written on children since 1988. He is connected with Radio Pakistan Hyderabad where he recorded many dramas.

Being a multi dimensional personality, he also entered in the field of journalism. He worked in daily Khadim-e-Watan as sub editor in 1990. He proved himself by achieving award and a certificate from a social organization Peoples Log.

Six hundred articles and columns have been published in different magazines as yet, in addition to all these things he has written some books namely Role of Dadu in M.R.D movement, Sindhi Knowledge and proverbs newspapers.

Currently Mohammad Ismail Malik is working in Daily Sham. His message for youth is “work hard with commitment because if you do so, there would be no difficulty to obstacle your destination”. -

A Social Asset

Abdul Rashid Ahmed Kolachi was born in 1968 at Kolachi village, situated five kilometers away from Mehar, district Dadu. He got primary and secondary education from Mehar. He was very intelligent in class so teachers loved him and always guided him. He passed Intermediate from Degree College Mehar. He did three years diploma in engineering from Dadu and came back to village.

His village was full of ignorant people and there was no any good school from where children could acquire education so he started work to educate people of his village. In this age of materialistic aims and motives, where people are so selfish, there he sacrificed all luxuries of life and worked day in and day out for the promotion of education because he did not want to see his coming generations as ignorant.

This struggle continued for three years and he requested to the government that we need a middle school. Government accepted the request of Abdul Rashid Ahmed Kolachi and established middle school at Kolachi village. Now children at village can get education easily.

Two years later, he started efforts for hospital but government did not gave any positive response then he stressed upon Mr Iiaquat Ali Khan Jatoi who was Federal Prime Minister of Pakistan at that time. Abdul Rasheed donated his personal property land for hospital at Kolachi village and now days hundreds of poor are being treated there free of cost.

He further involved in social welfare and opened a training center for widows to sew the clothes and sustain their lives.

Many widows earn their living and fulfill domestic needs of family. He also built a mosque at his village where children recite Holy Quran. Presently he serves as Pesh Imam of Mosque. He is recognized as a great name of Kolachi because he devoted his life for others and is best among us, who live for others.

As genius is not great but honest person is great in this world, and those persons create a place in heart of everyone. If every man thinks like Abdul Rashid Ahmed Kolachi then our social conditions would not remain as they are today. Very few persons in this world think like him.

At evening, he helps his father to sell flour.

Now Kolachi village is recognized by him and his father's name. I asked him how you feel when you help poor. He answered, I feel relax when I fulfill the needs of people.

Abdul Rashid is a great person. He sacrificed his life for villagers. Man can die but his work and contribution in society will always be remembered. Abdul Rashid Ahmed is a great example for us.

Every person has different qualities so for every one is different and unique to other. Some people are distinguished for their intelligence and efficiency while others mark their identification through their unique acts in the society.

These all things are not related with Naseer Soomro but he is different and unique from others by having a height of 8 feet and one inch. Who would have wondered that tallness of this man would become his identity someday and would become the center of attention for a large portion of world?

Naseer Soomro was born in 1975 at Shikarpur. After completing his primary education from Hathi gate school, he completed his Intermediate from C&S Government Degree College Shikarpur.

He joined Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur for graduation. Being tall, Naseer Soomro soon became very popular, not only in Pakistan but also at international level.

He earned popularity with the unique symbol of creation by God and gained central position throughout the world.

After Aalam Channa passed away in 1998, Naseer Soomro got title of being the tallest man by Asian and European media. Now, according to height, he is at 2nd number in the Guinness Book of World and at 1st number in Pakistan till today.

Naseer Soomro has visited 19 countries of world just because of popularity in regard of his height. Among them France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, China, America are worth mentioning.

He tells about his growing height that he was completely normal in his childhood, but at the age of ten years, his height grew up rapidly because of sudden fast fever. When he visited a doctor for checkup, he was told that because of growth hormones disease, his height is increasing quickly. For stopping this growth, doctors suggested operation. But due to financial problems it was not got possible.

Naseer Soomro, where he gets so much love and respect because of being unique, there he also faces challenges. He can not travel comfortable in car, rickshaw and van. He always avoids these needs of transports.

When he goes out side in the market or some place of outing, he is surrounded by odd eyes of women and children as if he is a man of some other world.

At times it also happens that children get afraid of him and change their routes and paths on which he walks. It hurts him a lot and he feels shame.

He likes sky blue color and is fond of vegetables. In 1999, he got a job in Pakistan International Airlines, but he was terminated. After that he is unemployed till today.

Now days, Naseer Soomro is facing a lot of challenges for the survival of his family. Soft hearted, cheer full and master of great nature Naseer Soomro is also famous with his used clothes and shoes. In Pakistan, Naseer Soomro is spending a life of unemployment, though he is offered jobs of handsome salaries by different countries but this great man prefers to lead an unemployed life in his own land then to serve some other country.

He says that life is the name of ups and downs. His friends have supported him in every step of life. He loves his friends and family.

He is not only unique by his stature but he is also unique by his thoughts, loving nature and purified soul.

Treat him gently, but do not cuddle him, because only the test of fire makes fine steel”, these unparalleled words were rolled down in the streams of history by Abraham Lincoln. He asked the teacher of his son to teach him the elegant way of living.

Ages passed on and people kept on coming and going on pages of world. But only few projected the essence of these tremendous words.

Today, few stand apart from this world and posses their own identity. One such person is Professor Doctor Hafeez ur Rehman Memon.

He was born on February 1, 1958 in Diplo district of Tharparkar. It is a vague perception in our country that people living in urban areas can make distinctions in the world but Dr Hafeez proved it and set an example that achievers do not need conditions, they are born to live a life of prominence.

His primary and higher education was from schools of Diplo and Tando Adam respectively. To excel his education for professional career, he opted to do bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Dawood College of Engineering and Technology Karachi.

After completing his formal education up to graduate level, he performed his duties as Apprentice Chemical Engineer, Mehran Sugar Mills Tando Allahyar to earn his living.

Later, he switched his profession to teaching and was appointed as lecturer in Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

Though he switched his profession to teaching but being a teacher, his thirst for knowledge never ended.

Therefore, he intended to do Ph.D and did it successfully from University of Leeds, UK in 1996.He also posses additional qualification of Post Doctoral fellowship which he did from University of Leeds, UK in 2002-2003. He offered his duties as visiting professor at Napier University, Edenburough UK.

Today he is serving as Director, Petroleum Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

Having an experience of 25 years in the field of teaching, research, administration and industry, Dr Hafeez has proved himself as one of the successful persons of world.

He is currently affiliated with Pakistan Engineering Council, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health of UK and Institute of Engineering Pakistan.

Dr Hafeez believes in healthy body along with healthy mind. He is fond of badminton and table tennis. In his school days, he used to play football.

He plays chess for mind exercise and walks to keep him hale and hearty. He is gentle and polite in nature.

He opines that it is far honorable to fail than to cheat. He has faith in his own ideas.

He helps students to get internships in industries. He is supervising five PhD students as he is a recognized supervisor by Higher Education Commission.

His recognitions tell the story of his hard work, determination, struggle and finally a triumph life.

He is a symbol of hope for those who believe that we have expertises who are not only expert in their fields of life but are also men of immense rectitude. Weekly Roshni
